The key role of Polish companies in shaping the future of European defence strategies is the main conclusion of the meeting held at the end of August in PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Copenhagen.
The event was organized by PAIH’s Danish office, the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen and representatives of Vector Synergy and CDeX. The participants talked about the key role of cybersecurity in the modern business environment and on the scale of state security, as well as the possibilities of increasing cooperation between the Polish and Danish cybersecurity sectors.
In this scenario, representatives of Vector Synergy presented examples of their cooperation with NATO and the EU. The Polish company emphasized the growing need to hire highly qualified staff specializing in cybersecurity and the importance of a strategic and proactive approach to strengthening European defence systems in the face of the current geopolitical situation. The state of national cybersecurity and the development of this market segment were also discussed.
The event accompanied the DALO Industry Days fair organized by the Danish Ministry of Defence. It is a cyclical event aimed at strengthening cooperation between Danish entities and foreign partners.
Reportedly, the meeting participants appreciated Poland’s role as a key player because of the geographical location on NATO’s eastern flank and the historical awareness of threats in Europe.
One year ago, Poland’s role as a technology hub, urban development, latest trends in industrial development as well as cutting-edge technologies, including blockchain and artificial intelligence was discussed at the Polish Economic & Technology Forum in Bern, Switzerland.
It was a chance to hear first-hand from leading Polish and Swiss government officials, business executives, experts and scientists, while at the same time a platform for exchanging business, technology and education experiences, as well as insightful information on open opportunities.
