For Poland, 2023 represented another record-breaking year in terms of the value of investment projects. 74 high-quality investment projects worth EUR 7.4 billion were completed. This is double the 2022 record figures and created almost 20,000 new jobs. The largest number of investments were made by investors who came from the USA, Germany, and the UK.
At the same time, the focus is also on strengthening the partnership where there’s room for investment. As the second-largest economy in the region and the fifteenth-largest in the world, Mexico is the gateway to Latin America. It is a large and absorptive market and a promising one for Polish entrepreneurs. The Mexican economy is backed by its industrial sectors: electronics, food and tobacco, chemicals, metallurgy, petrochemicals, mining, clothing, and automobiles. The services sector is also important, mainly in trade, tourism, and transport, as well as in financial services and real estate.
The Ambassador of Mexico to Poland, and the CEO of the Automotive Cluster from Nuevo León, AC (CLAUT) expressed their willingness to create a joint Polish-Mexican Chamber of Commerce. For Polish entrepreneurs, such initiatives are a great help in entering new markets and easing contacts with potential contractors.
